A car crash in Montgomery County on Friday left a teenager dead and two others injured, after police say the car in which they were traveling struck a tree.

Montgomery County Police were called around 4:30 p.m. to the 16600 block of Batchellors Forest Road in Olney, where they found a 2005 black Ford Focus had left the roadway and struck a tree. A passenger in the rear seat, Earl Dong-Min Lee, 19, died of his injuries at the scene. The driver, Brandon Drake Goodman, 21, and the front-seat passenger, David Lankford Hampp, 21, were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. All three are from Olney.

Police are still investigating what caused the car to go off the roadway.
