A fight on a Metrobus left a 15-year-old boy with stab wounds in his shoulder and arm Thursday afternoon.

The boy and several other teenagers broke into a fight on a 92 Metrobus outside the Congress Heights Metro station around 4:41 p.m. Thursday, Metro spokeswoman Caroline Lukas said.

The boy was stabbed four times in the back and the arm and was taken to a local hospital.

The other teens fled, and Metro Transit Police have yet to make any arrests, Lukas said.

Lukas said the injured boy was "not helpful" when questioned by police.

"He was also not terribly cooperative with [Metro Transit Police], so the suspicious is that he was at least familiar with the folks who were involved in the altercation," Lukas said.
