2 men charged with murder in Southeast D.C. fatal shooting

Police have arrested and charged two men for first-degree murder in connection with a fatal shooting in Southeast D.C. last November.

Byron Akeem Dunn, 23, and Marquette Tibbs, 22, were arrested separately Tuesday and charged with first-degree murder while armed in the shooting death of Andre Jackson, 22, according to a D.C. police news release. Jackson was suffering from gunshot wounds when police responded on the 300 block of Ridge Road SE in the early morning of Nov. 4, 2012. First responders found that the victim had no signs of life.
