2 men indicted in bottle bomb incident

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) — Two men accused of setting off a "bottle bomb" at a movie theater Maryland have been indicted by a grand jury.

Prosecutors in Prince George's County said Tuesday that 20-year-old Manuel Joyner-Bell and 23-year-old Michael Hollingsworth have been indicted on possession of a destructive device, six counts of second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and conspiracy to use a destructive device.

Both men were arrested following a bottle bomb explosion in May at the Magic Johnson Theater in Largo. Authorities have said Joyner-Bell confessed to setting off six bottle bombs at five movie theaters in the Washington area this spring. Authorities say Hollingsworth is believed to have been his accomplice in all of the incidents.

Both men are being held without bond and also face charges in Virginia.
