Two people were killed in an early morning fire Wednesday in Falls Church.

Fairfax County fire spokesman Dan Schmidt said the ranch-style home at 3103 Manor Road was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Fire fighters brought the blaze under control in about 30 minutes and found the bodies of two people. Two dogs and two cats also died in the fire.

Authorities have not determined the identity of the victims. Fire officials will release their names after their family has been notified.

Fire investigators continue to investigate the cause of blaze. The medical examiner will determine the cause of deaths.
