CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Military personnel and their families will be admitted free to 30 museums, historical societies and science centers across this summer as part of the Blue Star Museums program.

The program is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense and more than 1,800 museums across the country. It offers free admission to all active duty military personnel and their families from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

New Hampshire's participating institutions include the Berlin and Coos County Historical Society, the New England Ski Museum, the Currier Museum of Art, Castle in the Clouds and about two dozen others.
