5 Omaha business leaders join local hall of fame


OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — The top executives at Union Pacific and Valmont Industries are part of the Omaha Chamber of Commerce's 2013 class of the local business hall of fame.

The business leaders will be recognized at an awards event at the Holland Performing Arts Center on April 23.

The 2013 class includes Union Pacific Chairman Jim Young.

Mogens Bay, chairman and CEO of Valmont is also being honored.

Susan Jacques runs Berkshire Hathaway's Borsheim's jewelry store.

The former owner of Godfather's Pizza, Willy Theisen, is also being honored.

The other person being honored is Marshall Faith, vice chairman of The Scoular Company. Faith helped oversee Scoular's growth into a national agricultural marketing company.
