Nine elections supervisors from across the state told lawmakers amendments placed on ballots should be less wordy. They also advocated for greater flexibility in setting early voting days and sites.

HULK HOGAN SUES SPINE CLINIC

Wrestler Hulk Hogan has filed a lawsuit against Tampa-based Laser Spine Institute, saying the center did unnecessary surgeries that damaged his career. Center officials say they're aware of the lawsuit but won't comment to protect patient privacy.

STATE WILL RESUME KOSHER MEALS IN JAILS

Jewish inmates who've gone more than five years without kosher meals will soon be served meals in line with their religious beliefs. The practice was ended in 2007 for what officials said were cost and fairness issues.

10 WWII VETERANS GIVEN FRANCE'S HIGHEST HONOR
