Residents in the small Florida city of Zephyrhills are wondering who hit the historic $590.5M Powerball jackpot. The winner still hasn't come forward. Florida has more Powerball winners than any other state.

SCOTT VETOES NEARLY $400 MILLION FROM BUDGET

Gov. Rick Scott on Monday praised the overall state budget, which boosts spending in areas such as education. But the governor's vetos wiped out millions for college buildings, health care programs and money for supplemental programs for veterans.

FLORIDA GOVERNOR OKS SALES TAX HOLIDAY FOR AUGUST

Florida shoppers this August will get to buy computers without having to pay sales taxes. Gov. Rick Scott on Monday signed into law a bill reauthorizing the state's popular back-to-school sales tax holiday. This year's sales tax holiday, which includes computers under $750, will take place from Aug. 2 to Aug. 4.

FORMER NFL PLAYERS ARRESTED

Ex-NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson has been arrested on a probation violation stemming from an altercation last year with his now ex-wife. A Broward judge on Monday ordered Johnson jailed, but he was later released on $1,000 bond. An arrest warrant was issued earlier this month when he failed to meet his probation officer.

MACDILL MEDICAL OPS MEMBER DIES IN CAR CRASH

Florida Highway Patrol officials say Staff Sgt. Cheryl Westbrook's car collided with another car on I-75 near Riverview on Saturday, then flipped over. Officials say she joined the Air Force in 1995 and arrived at MacDill in Tampa in 2011.
