The champagne tower at the 40/40 Club in Manhattan has gotten a great deal of attention, now that President Obama attended a fundraiser at the venue with Jay-Z and Beyonce.

The tower is built with 350 bottles of $300-a-bottle Armand de Brignac Brut Gold champagne known as ‘Ace of Spades.’  The combined value of the tower is estimated at $105,000.

“It’s floor-to-ceiling gold bottles in the entire space,” a source tells the New York Post. “It’s beautiful—breathtaking. It’s the first thing you see when you walk in.”

"The Manhattan clubs new $10 million renovation includes four gargantuan, state-of-the-art 165-inch video screens and golden bats lining the walls of banquettes," reported the New York Daily News in January.

"I wanted to retain the feel of a clubhouse, a relaxed place to interact with friends," Jay-Z remarked.
