7-year-old sought in D.C. McDonald's robbery

D.C. police are looking for a 7-year-old boy who robbed a customer at a McDonald's restaurant.

It happened about 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the McDonald's in the 4300 block of Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue, SE.

A group of young males between the ages of 7 and 14 approached a customer got into a verbal altercation.

At some point, the customer took out his cell phone to call police and one of the young males snatched his phone and fled.
