For actor Adam Scott, this trip to D.C. was a little more daunting than his last one.

After filming "Parks and Recreation" with Vice President Biden, former Sen. Olympia Snowe, R-Maine, Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., and Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., over the summer, Scott returned Wednesday to show his support for gun control. "It's great because before it was purely fictional and this time we're really trying to do something for real -- so there's a stark difference between the two," Scott told Yeas & Nays.

"Right before we went out I was thinking this is incredibly nerve-wracking. I don't know how people do this every day," he said of his appearance before reporters on Capitol Hill.
