Campaigning today in New Hampshire, Vice President Joe Biden repeated many of the themes from his speech last night.

In spite of another weak jobs report for August – released earlier this morning – Biden insisted that the country was ‘not in decline.’

Praising President Obama, Biden stated that “he knows something our opponents either have forgotten or never knew — America is not in decline.”

“I’ve learned about this guy what you already know, Biden added. “He only knows one speed.  He only knows one direction:  Forward.”
