A day after buying free beer for voters at the Iowa State Fair, President Obama stopped by an Iowa cafe and offered to buy the patrons coffee.

“You guys need anything? I’m about to order.” he said after approaching the counter, according to the pool report.

“I was going to pay,” he added, after the people in the restaurant responded with laughter.

After ordering coffee, iced tea, muffins and cinnamon rolls for his staff on the bus, Obama offered again to buy anything in the restaurant anything. Finally a man yelled that he wanted a cinnamon roll, but Obama answered. “I just took the last cinnamon roll.”
