A top aide to Gov. Chris Christie told lawmakers Monday that the New Jersey governor had singled out his deputy chief of staff for questioning in the George Washington Bridge traffic jams. Christie directed his chief of staff, Kevin O'Dowd, on Dec. 12 to find out what Bridget Ann Kelly knew about four days of bridge lane closures in September, which had caused massive traffic jams in Fort Lee, N.J. O'Dowd is the highest-ranking member of the administration to appear before the New Jersey Select Commission on Investigation.
