Al Sharpton: I trust Obama on wiretapping, but he won’t be president forever

Speaking to his viewers last night, MSNBC host Al Sharpton explained that he was opposed to the Patriot Act, which allowed the NSA to spy on Americans’ phone records.

“I opposed it when Bush was president, I oppose it with President Obama being there,” Sharpton said. “I trust President Obama, but it’s a bad precedent because he won’t be president forever.”
