COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — The call center operator Alorica is hiring in Colorado Springs.
The Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/PGKAv1 ) the company plans to hire 350 people for its Colorado Springs call center by the end of the year, including about 100 resulting from "growth opportunities with an existing client." A job fair is planned Monday in Colorado Springs.
The announcement follows the news that Comcast Corp. plans to add 150 employees to its Colorado Springs call center, which specializes in retaining customers. Comcast said this week it is closing three customer call centers in northern California and moving the 1,000 jobs they provide to Oregon, Washington and Colorado.
