Amanda Knox and her Italian ex-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito were once again found guilty of killing British student Meredith Kercher on Thursday. A judge has now sentenced Amanda to 28 years behind bars. This new verdict comes less than three years after both Knox and Sollecito were acquitted of the murder and released from an Italian prison after serving four years. Amanda spoke out Thursday about the court’s new decision, admitting that the verdict has left her frightened and saddened. Knox’s lawyers have stressed that they will appeal any guilty verdict to the Supreme Court.
