ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — The mayor of Anchorage will be sworn into office Monday at a ceremony in ... Honolulu.

Dan Sullivan was re-elected in April to a second term, which officially begins July 1.

The swearing-in ceremony coincided with a planned family vacation to Hawaii to visit his wife's family.

A live video link will be established between Anchorage City Hall and an attorney's office in Honolulu. A judge in Anchorage will administer the oath, and the attorney in Honolulu will notarize his signature.
