CLIVE, Iowa (AP) — Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney's wife, Ann Romney, will be in suburban Des Moines for a rally at a furniture store.

The Romney campaign says Ann Romney will hold a "Women for Mitt" rally at By Design furniture store at 5 p.m. Thursday.

Her event follows Iowa stops earlier this week by Republican vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan and Vice President Joe Biden, a Democrat.

Romney and Democratic President Barack Obama are focusing on Iowa, which is one of a half-dozen battleground states expected to decide who will win the Nov. 6 presidential election.
