During her appearance on Fox News Sunday this morning with her husband Mitt, Ann Romney said she was happy to blame the media for their loss in the 2012 presidential race.

Host Chris Wallace asked if she was upset with her husband’s campaign for failing to reveal the true nature of her husband.

“Well, of course part of it is true,” she said, “But it was not just the campaign’s fault. I believe it was the media’s fault as well is that he was not being given a fair shake, that people weren’t really allowed to see him for who he was,” she said.

“Okay, what about the media?” Wallace pressed.

“I’m happy to blame the media,” Ann Romney laughed.

“I think that any time you’re running for office, you always think that you’re being portrayed unfairly,” she added. “Of course on our side, [we] believe there is more bias in favor of the other side. I think that’s a pretty universally felt opinion.”
