One of the most interesting new feature found in the iPhone 5's is its Touch ID system that scans of users' fingerprints on the device and lets them use the fingerprint data to unlock their devices and make purchases through the iTunes Store. The Wall Street Journal reports that an Apple spokesperson has provided some important new details about how Touch ID will work and how it will keep users' privacy safe. Apple says that it isn't storing full scans of users' fingerprints on the device and is only storing "fingerprint data" that stays encrypted on the iPhone 5s processor.
