Apple’s colorful plastic iPhone 5C hasn’t sold as well as the high-end iPhone 5S, likely for two reasons: Early adopters lined up for the fancier model, and the iPhone 5C simply isn’t very cheap in emerging markets like China. So to help push sales of the cheaper phone, Apple on Tuesday said it would offer a new model of the iPhone 5C that is even cheaper. The price will vary depending on the country. In another sign that Apple is trying to be more aggressive on price, the company on Tuesday also made a change to its iPad lineup.
