A top Arlington official plans to cut about 50 county positions to help reduce costs for next year's budget, expected to have a shortfall of as much as $50 million. County Manager Barbara Donnellan told the county's 3,600 workers of her intentions to cut 46 positions to reduce budget cuts. Twenty of those are filled, and another 20 employees have accepted an early retirement package, she said....
