Trump with the win in Maryland

Donald Trump won the Republican primary in Maryland on Tuesday, continuing his dominance in the Northeast and beating Ted Cruz and John Kasich.

Going into Tuesday’s primary, Trump was expected to dominate the field, as he led by more than 20 points in the state polling average. Trump was predicted to do well in the rural areas of the state along the Eastern Shore, while voters in the D.C. suburbs were leaning toward Kasich.
