Armored truck company worker shot during robbery

An employee of an armored truck company has been shot in Prince George's County, police said.

Shortly after 1 p.m. Tuesday, police were called to the 6300 block of Livingston Road in Oxon Hill. Police spokeswoman Cpl. Maria McKinney said the employee was outside a Loomis armored truck and was going into a Save-A-Lot when a masked person confronted him, shot him and took an unspecified amount of money.

The victim was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
