Arrest made in stabbing death of 68-year-old D.C. man

A 21-year-old man has been was arrested on a murder charge in the fatal stabbing of a 68-year-old man in Northwest D.C., police said.

David Jamal Wilson, of Northwest D.C., was arrested on charges of first-degree felony murder while armed for the death of Howard Venable Jr.

Police found Venable suffering from stab wounds inside his residence in the 1600 block of Fuller Street NW on Saturday evening. He died at the scene.

A police spokeswoman said that she did not know what, if any, the relationship between Wilson and Venable was.
