Our own Philip Klein, reporting from the Capitol, sends me the names of the seven Republican members of Congress who broke ranks on today's payroll tax vote:

Charlie Bass, R-N.H.
Jeff Flake, R-Ariz.
Jamie Herrera, R-Wash.
Tim Johnson, R-Ill.
Walter Jones, R-N.C.
Frank Wolf, R-Va.
Chris Gibson, R-N.Y.

For his part, Flake has voiced opposition to the extension of the payroll tax cut in principle, because it deprives Social Security of revenue.
