Debate Q to Santorum: What if your son was gay?

"What if you had a son who came to you and said he was gay?" asked a local New Hampshire debate moderator this morning in the Meet the Press debate.

Without hesitation, Santorum replied, "I would love him as much as I did the second before he said it and I would try to do everything I can to be as good a father to him as possible."

Santorum's answer received heavy applause from the audience in the debate hall.
