Rudy Giuliani appeared on Fox and Friends this morning to blast Newt Gingrich for his recent attacks on Mitt Romney regarding his business record at Bain Capital.

"What the hell are you doing, Newt?" said Giuliani. "I expect this from Saul Alinsky, Newt, this is what Saul Alinsky taught Barack Obama."

Giuliani denounced Newt's "total, ignorant, populist view of the economy" as one held by the leaders of the former Soviet Union and communist China.

Giuliani added that his "emotional inclination" was to support Newt Gingrich, Rick Perry, or Rick Santorum instead of Romney, but he was upset with the attacks.

"What they are doing to Mitt right now is totally absolutely unfair and bad for the Republican party." he added.
