Property owners in Maryland already pay $30 a year into a Bay Restoration Fund. The task force is weighing a proposal to double that in 2013, and increase it to $90 in 2015.
The restoration fund is aimed at upgrading sewage treatment plants and preventing farm pollutants from running into waterways that empty into the Bay.
The task force met Tuesday in Annapolis. The flush fee proposal is scheduled to be discussed during two additional meetings this year.
