Over at the Weekly Standard Blog Jay Cost has another of his excellent Morning Jay blogposts, arguing that Mitt Romney may have a good chance of improving on recent Republican presidential nominees’ showing in affluent suburbs. He’s got some good charts and some good background information. I’ve made similar arguments, first in my March 11 Examiner column, then in an April 3 blogpost on Jewish voters, and in my April 8 Examiner column providing a post-mortem on the race for the Republican nomination. As the general election race goes on, we’ll see whether or not Jay Cost and I are on to something.
