Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano denounced the Secret Service agent who posted on Facebook about ogling Sarah Palin when on her security detail in 2008.

"To the extent there was such a posting, [it was] unprofessional and unacceptable," Napolitano told Sen. Amy Klochubar, D-Minn., during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing this morning.

Palin, when asked about the Secret Service agent, said it was "kind of ridiculous" that he was posting about "checking someone [her] out" and then joked, "check this out, bodyguard -- you're fired."

MSNBC's Martin Bashir mischaracterized Palin's comment, saying she "bragged" about the agent's attraction to her.
