Biden: Under Romney, GM dies and bin Laden lives

Vice President Joe Biden suggested that Mitt Romney would have failed to have Osama bin Laden killed during a campaign event yesterday.

"I've said before that thanks to president Obama, bin Laden is dead and General Motors is alive," Biden said yesterday. "You have to ask yourself, had Governor Romney been president could he have used the same slogan in reverse?"

Biden, of course, told Obama not to order the raid on bin Laden's compound. "Mr. President, my suggestion is, don’t go," Biden told Obama when asked if the SEALs should raid bin Laden's house.

The discussion of Biden's speech was overshadowed by his "big stick" gaffe, as MSNBC contributors on Morning Joe struggled to work their way around the double entendre.
