What's the best way to rally supporters? Suggest that the other side is losing.
Featuring footage of Tea Party rallies, Obama's new campaign mini-documentary tells supporters that "some said America's best days were behind us." But the President, the narrator insists, "never stopped believing in us and fighting for us."
The ad insists that Republicans, "are waging a campaign to tear the president down," featuring pictures of Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, and Sean Hannity. It also features Republican leaders Sen. Mitch McConnell, Speaker John Boehner, and Rep. Eric Cantor.
As Obama strides in front of the White House, the narrator insists that "he persevered here at home and as Commander-in-chief."
The message? Obama is a winner. In spite of Congress and the Tea Party, he killed Bin Laden, freed Libya, and ended the Iraq war.
Its a message that should inspire his supporters, but will certainly outrage Republicans and Tea Party activists.
