Apparently, even people disabled while serving the United States in the war in Afghanistan won't be spared "extra screening" by Transporation Security Administration (TSA) officials at airports.

"Afghan War vet, maybe 20 y[ea]rs old, in wh[ee]lchair, no legs, shrapnel scars on arms--forced [to] lean on each side, do extra screening," radio host Laura Ingraham tweeted this afternoon. She noted that TSA officials at Baltimore Washington International Airport conducted the screening around 8:50 am today.

She added, "TSA folks weren't rude--but come on...our vets--esp recently wounded vets!-- deserve better!"

The soldier was wearing an "Afghanistan Vet" baseball hat, Ingraham noted.
