U.S. House Minority Whip Eric Cantor, R-Va., commended Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell after McDonnell announced Virginia ended fiscal 2010 with a $220 million surplus.

“If America is to get its fiscal house in order, Washington needs to learn from the bold actions taken in Virginia by Governor McDonnell,” he said.
“Mr. President, take a look at the example set by Virginia, and let’s start making the tough decisions today.”
