Ratigan is on a 30 Million Jobs tour for his TV show, while also promoting his first book "Greedy Bastards." At the party he invited liberal Sen. Bernie Sanders and Tea Party favorite Rep. David Schweikert to debate him.
It wasn't Ratigan's socks that were what was lost on Sanders. "I agree with a lot of what you say, I disagree with some of what you say, and I don't understand a lot of what you say, I lose you somewhere along the way," Sanders said. Schweikert was more concerned that he would lose support because of his remarks. We overheard him asking an aide, as he left the stage, if he said anything that would get him in trouble.
Ratigan said this was the first time the political polar opposites had met. "These are like 'Friends of Dylan' that may be wondering why they are friends of mine after meeting my other friends," Ratigan cracked.
