Two transgendered men are suspected of having robbed a third man at knifepoint in Northwest D.C. early Tuesday morning, District police reported.

One of the suspects pulled a knife on the victim at Fifth and K streets about 1:30 a.m., police said.

The first suspect was reported to be a black man with a light complexion, 6 feet tall, wearing a white shirt and black jeans. The second suspect is in his early 20s with a dark complexion and wearing a black or brown shirt.

Police first reported the crime on their Twitter feed, but said later Tuesday that they dropped the investigation because the man who was robbed didn't wish to file a complaint.
