On MSNBC last night, famous NBC anchor Tom Brokaw explained that it would be a challenge for Mitt Romney to sell himself to voters during his convention speech.

“This is the most inauthentic spontaneous candidate that I’ve ever seen, I must say.” Browkaw said. “We used to talk about the woodenness of Al Gore. I mean, Al Gore looks like a stand-up comedian compared to this guy.”

Browkaw added that Romney was “candid” by telling voters, “I am who I am,” but explained that Romney had to make independent voters “comfortable” with him in his convention speech.

“I don’t think that they will vote him for homecoming king, but they might vote for him for president,” Brokaw concluded.
