Redskins receiver Pierre Garcon will be a game-time decision, coach Mike Shanahan said, after being limited in practice the past two days because of a bruised right foot.

Shanahan did say Garcon, listed as questionable on the injury report, showed improvement in practice Friday. Shanahan said, as he has all week, that it’s a pain tolerance issue.

“If he can live with the pain and can go full speed, then you let him go,” Shanahan said. “Obviously he can take something to help himself a little bit.”

What Shanahan doesn’t want is for Garcon to be cleared and then last just a quarter or less.

“Then it hurts your team and special teams as well,” Shanahan said.

Aldrick Robinson replaced Garcon vs. the Saints, though Shanahan would not say what he’d do if his starter can’t play.
