A fight between siblings escalated into a stabbing in Northeast D.C. on Sunday morning, police report.
At about 3:05 a.m. Sunday, District police arrived at a house on the 4500 block of Quarles Street NE where a man had stabbed his brother in the back, according to police spokesman Anthony Clay.
The victim was conscious when police arrived and was taken to a local hospital.
The other brother ran from the scene and has not yet been arrested. He is described as a black man who is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs roughly 130 pounds.
