Where does Robert Griffin III's 76-yard touchdown run Sunday rank among the memorable long-distance (60 or more yards) plays by the Redskins' offense? Here are five:

5. Sonny Jurgensen to Jerry Allen (1968) » Allen, a running back, caught a 99-yard touchdown pass in a 38-28 win at Chicago. Ninety-nine yard passes have happened 13 times in NFL history; three of the first four were by the Redskins.

4. Clinton Portis (2004) » On his first carry with the Redskins, Portis burst through the middle and bolted 64 yards for a touchdown in a 16-10 victory over Tampa Bay. It also was Joe Gibbs' opener in his second tenure with the team.

3. Mark Brunell to Santana Moss (2005) » Brunell's 70-yard bomb was his second touchdown pass to Moss in the final 3:46 at Dallas as the Redskins went from listless to explosive in a 14-13 win on "Monday Night Football."

2. John Riggins (1979) » His 66-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter of the season finale at Dallas was the longest of his 2,916 career rushes. It had appeared to put the Redskins in the playoffs, but Roger Staubach rallied the Cowboys with two touchdown passes in the final three minutes.

1. Doug Williams to Ricky Sanders (1987) » In the Redskins' 42-10 Super Bowl win over the Broncos, Williams' 80-yard bomb to Sanders was the first of five Washington touchdowns in the second quarter, including a 58-yard sprint by Timmy Smith and a 50-yard pass from Williams to Sanders.
