Wizards get little love in annual NBA GM survey

Sports,Pick and Roll,Craig Stouffer

The Wizards didn’t make much of an impression on this year’s annual NBA general manager survey. It’s worth a look, but here’s a summary of how Washington fared:

*GMs think Bradley Beal will be good, but not necessarily this season. He finished second, a way distant second to Anthony Davis, in voting for which rookie will be the best player in five years. Davis received 86.7 percent of votes while Beal got 6.7 percent (two votes). No GMs believe he’ll win rookie of the year.

*Kevin Seraphin and Jan Vesely each got a slight mention in votes for international player likely to breakout this season.

*John Wall got a couple GMs’ attention as fastest player in the league with the ball, finishing tied for fourth.

*The Wizards got no votes for most improved team this season.
