A Montgomery County 17-year-old with a history of running away has once again been reported missing.

On Oct. 10, James Acevedo-Hodge was reported missing from Rockville. Previously, he had been reported missing from the Germantown, Md., area in May of 2010 and then again in September of 2011, according to area missing person sites.

When he was first reported missing in 2010, police information said James was known to frequent the areas of Brandermill Drive and Century Boulevard in Germantown.

James is approximately 5-foot-7 and weighs 150 pounds. He is black with short black, afro-style hair and brown eyes.

He is said to frequent the Gaithersburg and Rockville areas. During the school week of Oct. 22, he was reported to have attended class on two different days but left before the police or his father could get to the school to confirm it.

James is classified as an "endangered runaway," and anyone with information or tips on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Montgomery County police Family Crimes Division at 240-733-5400 or the police nonemergency number at 301-279-8000.
