Superstorm Sandy derailed the National Geographic premiere of "SEAL Team Six: The Raid on Osama Bin Laden" last week, pushing the Newseum premiere back several days and forcing producer and scheduled guest Harvey Weinstein to skip Thursday's red carpet.
David Lyle, CEO of National Geographic Channel U.S., told guests at the Newseum not to be too disappointed that the effusive Weinstein had to stay home. "He would have talked for 20 minutes, so draw your own conclusion," he said.
The film debuted on the National Geographic Channel Sunday.
