$6 million: Amount of money Broadway shows are estimated to have lost as a result of Hurricane Sandy, according the AP. Theaters all over New York City were closed from Monday until Wednesday as the city braved the storm. The hardest hit show? "Nice Work If You Can Get It," which lost $538,853. Insiders expect the theater scene to bounce back. "Storms will not stop us, the terrible tragedy of 9/11 will not stop us. Theater will continue. It's one of the oldest art forms known to man and it will continue," Broadway producer Barry Weissler said.
