Security officials at Reagan Washington National confiscated a stun gun made to look like a cell phone early Tuesday.

The weapon was detected by a Transportation Security Administration officer who spotted the unusual device as it passed through a metal detector at the airport's central terminal checkpoint.

The phone's screen had a fake desktop image, and instead of a call and off buttons, had stun and light buttons.

There were no charges, and there was no impact to airport operations.

The passenger was able to catch her flight to Chicago after relinquishing the weapon.
