NBC picks up 'Chicago Fire,' orders more 'Whitney'

NBC is bolstering up its lineup. The network announced on Thursday that it has picked up a full season of "Chicago Fire." The drama is performing solidly on Wednesday nights, averaging 8 million viewers per episode. In other news, the network has also ordered five more scripts of the comedy "Whitney." The Whitney Cumming show replaced the cancelled "Animal Practice," and will start its new season alongside "Chicago Fire" this Wednesday.
