Authorities seek info about Herndon bank robbery

Fairfax County police are looking for information about a bank robbery that took place in the Herndon area earlier this month.

Shortly after 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 1, a man entered the Capital One Bank at 13344-A Franklin Farm Road.

He implied that he had a weapon and demanded that a teller give him money. The teller did as the robber ordered, and the robber fled, Fairfax County police said.

No one was injured during the incident.

The robber is described as a white man in his 40s, 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a black zip-up-style jacket, black pants and a black hunter-style hat.
